Black-eyed Sally's

Black-eyed Sally’s BBQ and Blues
350 Asylum Street
Hartford, CT 06103

Black-eyed Sally’s is triple the size it was when it opened in 1995, and with good reason…  award winning BBQ and Cajun cooking, and some of the best recording artists on the blues circuit today. Blues Reviews magazine rated Sally’s as one of the best blues clubs in the USA with live entertainment Wednesday thru Saturday nights. Many well known acts have graced our stage over the years. We’ve seen Lucky Peterson, Shemika Copeland and Ronnie Earl to just name a few. On occasion some really big names have dropped in to eat or jam at Sally’s like Clarence Clemons, David Crosby, Graham Nash, the members of the Allman Brothers band, Dave Matthews and even the gang from American Idol.

Their smoked cheddar grits are amazing and you can get a root beer float to go with your ribs.  Mmm.

They’re doing more than just blues these days. You can catch great original rock, jazz and funk on their stage as well, but blues is still the bread and butter.
